Global travel platform Yanolja is strengthening its No. 1 position in Korea throughout the winter peak season with an unprecedented customer benefit strategy.
After analyzing Yanolja's largest travel big data in Korea, Yanolja has strengthened customer benefits by anticipating that customers' price sensitivity will increase due to the overall travel cost increase and the impact of the global economic downturn. With a forward-looking understanding of trends and customer-centric strategies based on that understanding, Yanolja provided a total of KRW 58.7 billion worth of benefits to customers last year, with the number of customers who received discounts surpassing 3.26 million.
The success of the customer benefit enhancement strategy was also evident in various indicators. Last December, Yanolja's transaction volume recorded solid growth, increasing by 74% compared to the same period before the pandemic in 2019. In addition, according to Mobile Index Insight estimate data (Android OSiOS) from IGAWorks, Yanolja, a mobile big data platform company, exceeded 3.8 million MAU (Monthly Active Users) in December 2022 and ranked first in the travel category for major app indicators such as total monthly usage time and number of active devices.
Going forward, Yanolja will continue to prioritize customer needs and introduce differentiated benefits and services backed by the largest pool of travel big data in Korea.
