Yanolja, led by CEO Sujin Lee, has released its consolidated financial report for Q3 2023.

Yanolja's consolidated revenue under the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), reached KRW 238.7 billion in the third quarter of 2023. This marks a 34% increase from the previous year's third-quarter revenue of KRW 178.8 billion, establishing a record as the company's highest quarterly revenue to date. Operating profit for the quarter amounted to KRW 12 billion, while the adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) reached KRW 33.7 billion.

Yanolja demonstrated strong growth across its entire business portfolio in Q3. Notably, the Platform Division recorded a 5% increase in revenue compared to the corresponding period last year, totaling KRW 108.3 billion. This growth is attributed to strategic enhancements in overseas travel-related services and the successful integration of the newly launched flight booking services, for effectively tapping into the heightened demand for overseas travel during the summer peak season. As evidenced by its operating profit of KRW 8.3 billion and adjusted EBITDA of KRW 17.3 billion, the Division has consistently played a key role as cash cow, making substantial contributions to Yanolja's overall profitability.

The Cloud Division experienced a remarkable 112% increase in revenue, reaching KRW 64.9 billion, and achieved its first quarterly profit with an operating profit of KRW 9.2 billion. The adjusted EBITDA also recorded KRW 13.2 billion. It is expected to be a milestone to simultaneously secure both profitability and growth.

Leveraging a successful rebranding campaign in the first half of the year, InterparkTriple achieved its first monthly profit in August since its acquisition by Yanolja. In particular, the revenue grew by 52% to KRW 74.6 billion, operating loss improved to KRW -1.1 billion, and adjusted EBITDA reached KRW 2.6 billion. It is indicating that the impact of successful rebranding, coupled with strong growth in flights, tour packages, and ticket sales has set the company on a robust trajectory of growth.

Yanolja's quarterly total transaction volume (TTV) surpassed KRW 2 trillion, an increase of 55% year-on-year and a new historic high for the company. Notably, the Cloud Division TTV rose by 349% YoY, driven by Yanolja's global expansion and rapid growth of the channeling sales, further reinforcing expectations for the company's sustained growth.

We achieved record-breaking quarterly revenue and TTV in Q3, attributed to consistent growth across all our business divisions and the successful performance of our global operations,” a spokesperson from Yanolja stated. “As the synergies between Yanolja, Yanolja Cloud, and InterparkTriple continue to gain momentum, we anticipate even stronger growth and profitability in the coming quarter.
