The global travel tech platform company Yanolja (CEO Lee Sujin) is newly ranked as one of '2022 Best Korea Brands' by Interbrand.
Interbrand is a part of Omnicom Group. Interbrand is the world's leading customer-centric consultancy, for over 48 years – having pioneers iconic work and forged many of the brand-building tools that are commonplace across the industry today. Interbrand ranks 'Best Korea Brands' every year, considering Korean brands' influence in the industry such as manufacturing, IT, finance, FMCG, etc. Yanolja is the only ranked company for '2022 Best Korea Brands' in the travel and hospitality industry.
Yanolja is ranked as the '2022 Best Korea Brands' by Interbrand as a new entrant, the 49th place out of 50 brands. According to Interbrand's analysis, it was positively evaluated that Yanolja has been continuing its growth through business expansion and prompt response to rapidly changing market conditions such as a pandemic and new industry trends. Interbrand also elaborated that Yanolja has turned a pandemic crisis into an opportunity by actively expanding its services from travel and leisure to transportation, mobile vouchers, and restaurants.
Also, it was analyzed that Yanolja was reborn its corporate identity as a 'travel tech company', leading the new travel and leisure trends through unrivaled inventories and technologies that have been put into one platform. Furthermore, last year, it signed for the acquisition of Interpark, the Korean market-leading e-commerce platform, to strengthen the groundwork for the international travel market.
Along with the platform business, Yanolja Cloud, the subsidiary of Yanolja for the SaaS (Software-as-a-service) solution business, is accelerating the digital transformation of various spaces including accommodations, leisure, F&B (Food and Beverage), and residences with its solutions in around 170 global markets. In addition, it keeps partnering with worldwide industry-leading companies for technological innovations such as AI, IoT, and Blockchain and a cloud solution ecosystem that meets accommodation merchants, reservation channels, and B2C consumers.
“We are pleased to be newly ranked as one of '2022 Best Korea Brands' by Interbrand,” said Jongyoon Kim, the CEO of Yanolja and Yanolja Cloud. “We will keep evolving the domestic business with various consumer-centric services and also accelerating our global SaaS solution business for the more international market, for the digital transformation of spaces,”
