Yanolja (CEO & Founder LEE Su Jin), South Korea's leading travel and leisure platform, participated in 'Earth Hour', a global light-out campaign.

Earth Hour is the largest climate change movement in the world hosted by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature to raise awareness of jeopardy caused by environmental pollution. Since 2007, every last Saturday of March, major landmarks and companies around the world turn off their lights for one hour, announcing the importance of environmental protection.

Yanolja joined in the Earth Hour campaign for two years in a row by turning off all lights on the entire floor of the office building located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for an hour from 8:30 pm on the 26th (Saturday). Through this, about 250kW of electricity was saved, and about 117kg of carbon dioxide was reduced.

This year, the internal event was also implemented to encourage employees to participate in the campaign. During the campaign, the employees who turned off the light of their personal space and shared photos of that received a zero-waste kit from company as a gift.

Yanolja deeply sympathizes with the importance of energy conservation so participated in this campaign together with employees to support the sustainable development of the local community. Moreover, Yanolja plans to lead 'Net Zero' realization and strengthen ESG management.
