Yanolja (CEO & Founder LEE Su Jin), South Korea's leading travel and leisure platform, completed the 'Contactless Energy Sharing Campaign'.
Yanolja held an 'Contactless Energy Sharing Campaign' with the Miral Welfare Foundation for Energy Day. The campaign was prepared to deliver eco-friendly solar lights to emerging countries and to improve children's educational environment. The lights are charging electricity with a solar panel and characterized by safe use without additional cost. Yanolja paid the entire cost of the solar-powered lights making kit, and employees participated in assembling the lights.
Yanolja recently delivered 200 solar-powered lights assembled by employees to two elementary schools in Indonesia. They are the schools for children from low-income families in the area and has been using kerosene lamps due to the lack of electricity supply. Solar-powered lights are expected to provide a healthier educational environment as there is no additional cost and the low risk of fire and respiratory diseases. The children who received the lights also expressed their gratitude for creating an environment where they can study safely anytime and anywhere.
